From Main St we take either the Q-13 or Q-16 to last stop, Fort Totten. After we walk the 2.5 miles along Flushing Bay, lunch stop in Crocheron Park & continue to Northern Blvd. End Part 1.

Those who wish to continue to Alley Pond Environmental Center/nature walk can accompany me & then take the Q-12 back to Main Street. Other option is to take the LIRR to Penn Station. Meet 10:30 AM in front of St George Episcopal Church located on Main St between 38th and 39th Ave. Mostly flat terrain.

Bring food & liquids. Bus ride is at least 45 minutes from Main St to Fort Totten. Wear sturdy shoes or hiking boots. Rain cancels.
