About us
Once a month, we'll meet online to read a short piece together (might be a short story, a poem, an essay, an article from The New Yorker or the Atlantic, a short play where we can each read a character, or something else). Members are welcome to suggest their own short pieces to the organizer. The first part of our meeting will be to read through the piece out loud together, and the 2nd part will be discussing it. Generally speaking, the pieces will take no longer than 20 minutes to read. Short pieces will be announced in advance so people can also read it before the meeting if they prefer.
As the organizer, I'm based in San Jose, CA, but anyone from anywhere is welcome to join us online. For now, we'll be having a monthly online meeting on the last Monday of the month at 7:00 pm Pacific Time.
