Shape Hunt Photo Walk
Details
Join us on Sunday, June 14th at 12pm for a photography walk through FiDi and the Seaport!
At the start of this walk, each participant will be assigned a shape. Your mission is to wander the streets of Lower Manhattan photograph that shape wherever it appears. Think circles in architecture, repeating grids of windows, triangles in scaffolding, curves in reflections, shadows forming unexpected geometry, or patterns hiding in plain sight.
The challenge is less about documenting objects and more about training your eye — noticing how forms repeat across completely different environments and building a visual language around a single idea.
The exact starting location, along with a list of hourly gathering checkpoints, will be shared with registered participants closer to the day of the event.
All camera types (including cell phones) are welcome.
Limited slots available.
