Orono Crown Land Trust, Orono ( 🌞A Slice of Orono 🍉 )

With the full optimism of a new day 🌞accompanied by the cheerful song of birds🐣, we hit the trails to capture the best part of the day.. A good portion of trail runs along creek bordered by trees. Terrain is hilly with flat sections. Pace: ~ 4.5 km / hr. ( moderare ) and adjusted to ensure well-being of participants and responsive to the ambient temperature. Hike distance: ~ 10 km. Ensure you have plenty of WATER ( hydration ); long pants ( ticks / poison ivy protection ); sunscreen/ insect repellant; footwear with solid tread; trekking poles/ snacks optional. Good cheer also always welcome.
