Rouge Park SouthCentral Trail
Details
The trail is a "there and back again". We'll be doing a little bit of the Monarch trail, as well as the South Central trail. The total distance is ~8.1 km which we'll cover in ~2 hours. That means we'll be going a somewhat leisurely speed, allowing hikers to stop and take pictures of the various landscapes including farmland, meadows, wetlands, and forest.
Our group will leave at the posted time, so please arrive early. Please cancel your RSVP if you can't make it. If you're late, park at
7933 14th Ave Markham
and you'll be to join us for the second quarter of our walk.
Bring water and wear good hiking/trail shoes or boots.
