🌲Elgin Park to Brookdale🌲 ( Uxbridge ) ( ❄️ Snow Blanket 🧸)

Once again, we are fortunate to be able out into an expanse of ❄️freshly blanketed 🌲forest tracts 🌲 to rediscover a place where time finds balance and equanimity finds currency. Soon we’ll be able to strap on our snowshoes, again …but not quite yet. In the meantime, 🚦Microspikes/ Ice Crampons should be accessible in everyone’s backpacks…ready to use if necessary …so as to prevent possible personal injury due to possible icy segments on trail. This hike will begin from Elgin Park 🅿️ area coursing through a mix of forested hilly landscape, past ponds and streams (along portions of the Uxbridge and TCT systems). Anticipated lenghth of hike is roughly 10 km ..+/-. Weather conditions ( particularly ambient temperature ) will dictate ultimately the length of the hike … as group health and wellbeing is a primary consideration.
