Let's explore hidden gem spot in Saitama!
We organize events to visit local spot like cafe, gallery, park, restaurant and even public bath, etc. Release your tension in the suburban area less than 1 hour away from the city center of Tokyo!
The event will be held mainly near Urawa Station, where the organizer is living, and the agenda may include;
- Walking in the park
- Local cafe operated by an old tea shop, serving Japanese green tea
- Dining / drinking in the hidden local restaurant
- Jogging in the local area and the park
- Visiting a local traditional public bath
- Japanese homestyle cooking experience in the organizer's house
The purpose of this group is providing the opportunity for the people living in / travelling to Tokyo to experience the suburban life and to enjoy the networking among the participants (Japanese people are also welcome!)
The organizer of this group was born and raised in Urawa and is happy to guide the visitors to the area.
浦和を中心に、さいたまの隠れたスポットをご案内します。日本人も外国の方も入り混じって、緑いっぱいの公園を散歩したり、地元の古いお茶屋さんがやっている古民家カフェでゆっくりしたり、ジョギングしてから古い銭湯で汗を流したり、地元のお店でワイワイ食事したりというところです。主催者の気が向いた時には、自宅で料理を楽しむ小さなイベントをすることもあるかもしれません。
こうしたイベントを通じて、日本の方にもさいたまの良さを知って頂くとともに、外国の方との交流を楽しんで頂けたらと思います。
主催者は浦和生まれ浦和育ち、生粋の浦和っ子です。都内に住んだり仕事の関係で海外に住んだりしたこともありますが、やっぱり浦和が良くて数年前に戻ってきました。皆様のお越しをお待ちしております。
