Details
📚 About our sessions
Please read the stories listed below before attending. For every story we will start with summarizing the story so that we have it fresh in our minds. We will share our opinions about the story, which parts we liked and which we didn't like, and we will discuss any and all aspects of the story and the writing.
📖 About this session
As I have recently read two books (We Do Not Part and The Vegetarian) by the recent Nobel prize winner in literature Han Kang, I thought that this time we could read some of her works. The following texts are a short story published in Granta magazine and an excerpt from her novel The White Book published in Harper's magazine:
The Fruit of My Woman at approximately 8,000 words
🤍 White Out at approximately 1,800 words
After the discussion feel free to stick around, socialize, and make new friends. ☕
