Lafayette Farmers Market Voter Registration Booth

Details
*pretty much the same description as the one in May!*
I know we’ve still got about a year before we’ll be able to vote for our state representatives again, but it’s never too early to encourage folks to get registered! Plus, it’s a way to be present in the community and let people know there is a secular community here, if they are looking for one!
The Farmers Market is officially open between 8 and 12:30. I’ll be there early to set up, and I’ll stay until 12:30 to tear down. Signing up for this event doesn’t mean you’ll be attending the entire time! Come and stay as long as you’d like, or just pop in to say “hi”!
I’ll have 4 chairs there, but if you’d like to bring your own, that’s fine with me!
We are given 2 free dates per year to attend the market as a non-profit community group. This will be our second.
If you want to learn more about voting in Indiana, you can find information here. (that’s also where we help people register and/or check their registration status!)
*Please note - as an affiliate of the American Humanist Association, we must host this event in a non-partisan way! We are not advocating for any specific party or candidate, just there to encourage people to register and to answer any questions they may have!*
