Book Club: George Orwell’s 1984

Soooo… I know this probably hits too close to home for many of us these days… but maybe we can learn something from it?! Either way, let’s revisit this classic, precautionary tale of authoritarianism (before we’re no longer able to read whatever we want… too real 😬?!?).

I plan on hosting another event after this one to either watch or discuss the new documentary about the works of George Orwell and how they relate to our world today titled “Orwell: 2+2=5”… we can plan for that after the book club meet, for those that are interested!

Bring a drink and/or snack to share, because nothing goes better with the downfall of democracy than snacks and drinks 🫠!!
