Hey, folks, Nicole here! Paul (hosting this event!) is a long-time member of the group and an astronomy lover! He has graciously agreed to host this event since I will be out of town. He’s also a member of the Wabash Valley Astronomical Society. That group is hosting a talk by Purdue Professor and Astrobiologist, Dr. Ben Pearce, titled "How Did Life Begin—and Are We Alone?". There will be a general discussion following the presentation.

The WVAS event will be held at the West Lafayette Observatory (attached to the Cumberland/West Lafayette Elementary School! The address is 600 Cumberland Ave West Lafayette). Before that event, folks for our group can meet up at Dos Amigos, starting at 5:00. That way, everyone gets a chance to meet new people and get to know each other a bit before the event!

The presentation is free and open to the public, but it’s limited to 25 seats and some standing room. Because of this, we’re going to limit the attendance of this event to 10 people.

I’m sorry I can’t make this one, it looks really interesting! I hope everyone has fun!!
