About us

- You can attend both groups in any given week for the price of one
- Please email quirkychoirs@gmail.com to introduce yourself and find out more.
- We will request your phone number to join you to the whatsapp group
- Hove is more for beginners at the moment.
- We provide a lift to Hassocks meeting near Hove Town Hall at 6.30 Wednesday nights.
- Rebecca used to run four clubs in London before lockdown in NW5 NW3 SW W8. She has a very original and joyous approach to teaching music and employs techniques inspired by Seth Riggs' Singing with the Natural Voice.
- The clubs are non audition.
- Many styles of music including pop, swing, jazz, bossa, folk, rocks, blues by artists such as George Michael, The Beatles, Sting, Kirk Franklin, Andrew Sisters, The Turtles, The Kinks, Julie London, Doobie Bros, Everley Bros, Judy Garland, Angus & Julia Stone, Ben Sidran, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Bob Dylan, Jose Feliciano Version and more...
- Both groups will hopefully come together for festivals / performances and later in the year. So we'd love your musical commitment on this venture.
- Experience not necessary. Get ready for a steep learning curve!
- We have a lot of fun!

About Rebecca: she set up these singing clubs in 2011 in London for mental well-being (and France for an English language school). We continue to meet up on a regular basis and have become a small community. Bringing joy through shared music of all genres.
We're currently singing Doobie Bros, James Taylor, George Michael, Milck, some spirituals, a hymn, a Sting song, Judy Garland and some chanting from Cameroon and such.
Our ages range from early 20s to 70s. Everyone is welcome. We even have a lamb mascot called Roderick. ๐
If you're interested, we repeat, pls email quirkychoirs@gmail.com. We aren't on meetups all that often and wouldn't want to miss your hello. Rebecca & Eva
