Join us for an autumn adventure through one of the Midlands’ most enchanting landscapes — the sandstone ridge of Kinver Edge. This stunning National Trust site is a haven of wildlife, panoramic views, and fascinating history, from ancient hill forts to homes carved right into the rock.

This walk blends beautiful woodland trails, sweeping heathland, and the quirky, centuries-old Rock Houses, making it the perfect mix of exploration, fresh air, and a dash of mystery.

We’ll start the day by stretching our legs across the rolling heathland of Kinver Edge, following scenic trails that wind through gorse and heather to reveal breathtaking views across the countryside.

Along the way, we’ll pass historic highlights including the Iron Age hill fort, Nanny’s Rock, and the famous Rock Houses, carved directly into the sandstone cliffs — once home to entire families!

After exploring the summit and trig point, we’ll descend through peaceful woodland paths, soaking in the autumn colours and the ridge’s wild, rugged beauty before looping back to our starting point.

This walk offers everything: nature, history, and that unbeatable sense of adventure that comes from discovering somewhere truly unique.
