Chirk - approx. 9 miles circular walk

The walk will start just outside Chirk railway station on the main road; there is free on street parking. I am leading this walk with Steve for Be Active, all Shropshire Pathfinder members are welcome. It is a scenic walk.

It is approximately 9 miles, we will walk through the grounds of Chirk castle and surrounding area. The walk will take in views of the castle, the aqueduct and viaduct. Opportunity to go through a long tunnel at the end, bring a torch.
Dogs on leads please due to livestock being in the fields.

Please wear appropriate clothing, bring food and beverages.

At the end of the walk there is the Hand Hotel which has a beer garden and there are a few cafes in the town.
