Oakley Arms

At Kiddemore Green ST19 9BQ near Brewood there is (IMO) one of the best hostelries around ie The Oakley Arms. Some time back they had the idea of an easy 5 mile walk starting and ending at the arms taking in the local SSSI (Belvide Reservoir Bird Sanctuary) and the Black Ladies Priory (a 16C religious Tudor Centre) which starting at 10am had you back at the arms for 12 noon the walk being flat and easy. I have reccied an extension (to 7 miles getting you back at 1pm along the canal) and a super extension (to 8 miles getting you back at 1.30pm ish).
I propose the extension walk unless it is chucking it down in which case we can revert to the 5 mile easy walk. The walk is essentially new and untried and we meet as usual for a prompt 10am start at the far end of the car park. Usual conditions apply. The walk has virtually no stiles and is relatively straightforward.
