Shut Up & Paint is a free weekly group for painters of all skill levels. We meet on several weekdays, and some Sundays. We are a creative support group, not a critique group :)
We welcome all forms of creativity, such as painting, sculpting, writing, and photography. During meetings, we encourage you to commit 60 minutes to your own creativity, with no pressure to succeed.
We also request no unsolicited advice, and sensitivity towards others is appreciated.
LGBTQ+ are welcome. You can contribute to the group's Meetup fees if you wish, either with Pledge or at https://ko-fi.com/shutupandpaint

Work on your main creative project, or engage that totally unrelated side idea.
5-10 minutes intro, 60 minutes on mute, 10 minutes wrap up/sharing (voluntary). All levels welcome!
3 optional prompts:
1. Wombats (friendly Australian wildlife, were huge in prehistorical times, protective of wombat and non-wombat critters, square poo, buns of steel).2. Make a feelings drawing with 4 lines of different color, texture, and style to represent 4 feelings you are experiencing right now.
3. positive and negative - You can do this however you like. For example, paint the spaces around a plant or folding chair.
Or illustrate one of your positive traits and one of your negative traits having a conversation. Our group gallery can be seen at Meet Create Show.
