Shut Up & Write! Kraków

Join Fellow Writers every other week to sit down and write.

No critiques, no sharing, no pressure. Just focused writing time alongside other people working on their own projects.

We meet upstairs. Grab your liquid writing fuel before we start — coffee, tea, or whatever keeps the words coming — so you can settle in and focus. Bring your laptop or a notebook and your favourite pen.

At the beginning, everyone sets a small, realistic goal for the session — 500 words, one scene, an outline, a few paragraphs. Then we write in silence.

A few simple rules:

• Keep your goal achievable. Progress, not perfection.
• Protect the quiet. Phones away, notifications off.
• Write first, edit later. The first draft is allowed to be messy.
• No critiquing. You never have to share what you’ve written.
• Check in at the end. We briefly share how it went and celebrate whatever progress happened.

Afterwards, feel free to stick around, chat, and get to know the other writers.

Bring a novel, poem, essay, thesis, notes — or a mysterious document that has been open in Word since 2024.

This is simply a regular space to show up, focus, and get words on the page.
