Weekend Location Scouting! (#3): Design Centre Redux

Let's find a great place and time to write on the weekend!

Background: My preferred time to write is Saturday morning/afternoon (the earlier the better), but on the island, we have issues that cannot be ignored:

1. The MF Hub is closed on weekends.

2. We do not want to conflict with the MF Saturday morning workout at 10 am*

• Nini Andrade Silva's Design Center (my #1 choice) does not open until 11:00 am on weekends and often hosts special events that close the space, with limited outlets for laptops. BUT I love the atmospheric space, inspiring view, and friendly staff. Sundays tend to be quiet. *Note: the kitchen closes at 3:00 pm.
• There are limited outlets. Come prepared with a fully charged laptop, or be ready to go analog (with pen and paper). Don't forget headphones, earbuds, or earplugs!

*Note: I attended the workout. Some may find it intimidating (just judging from the photos alone), but it was trés fun. Out of respect for Luis (the burpee king), I will not schedule against it.

Keeping all this in mind, let's explore other spaces until we find the right fit: a cafe or bar that welcomes a group of nerds on laptops, offering delicious food, good music, and vibes.
