Shut Up & Write Rotterdam ONLINE

PLEASE NOTE:

• If you're new to Shut Up & Write or this group, please read the info.
• This is not a writing class. It's meant for working focussed on your own writing project in the company of other writers.
• This group is the same as Shut Up & Write! with Chré (under SUaW Online chapter)

# UPDATE: In June and half July we go from biweekly to WEEKLY Mondays. This might be temporary. After 14 July we might change back to every other Monday (biweekly) again, please check by then.

Join us on Mondays for two hours of writing (ONLINE). It can be strikingly helpful to write with other writers. No one will see what you've written or give you unsolicited advice. Instead of just thinking about writing, come and get some real writing done.

This Shut Up & Write is hosted from Rotterdam, The Netherlands, but has international attendees from all over Europe and the world. Most attendees are creative writers in genres (short stories, novels, poetry, memoir, etc.). However if you’re gasping for some focussed writing time on other stuff (a blog, an article etc.) feel free to join us. Also, we offer a space for writers of all skill levels to work on their craft. So whether you are a seasoned writer or a beginner who aspires to write and wants to explore the craft, you are most welcome.

SCHEDULE (CET/ Amsterdam Time)
10:30 Welcome and quick introductions.
10:40 Writing for 50 minutes (~ 1st hour)
11:30 Short break: everybody can share how the writing went.
11:45 Writing 2nd hour (60 minutes)
12:45 End of session. Short round, everybody can briefly share how they did.
# BEING LATE IS OKAY. Just check in in the chat and start to write on your own project until the break. Of course you can also leave early.

SOME IMPORTANT DETAILS:
- This is not a writing class!
- Keep in mind that Shut Up & Write events is about doing the writing, so we don’t share what we’ve written or critique each other.
- Shut Up & Write offers a safe space for both experienced as aspired writers. Please be respectful to your fellow attendee and don’t give unsolicited advice.
