Welcome to Shutter Society Madrid, a fun and relaxed community for anyone who loves photography! Whether you’re a passionate hobbyist, a smartphone snapper, a professional, or just getting into photography, this group is for you.

We’re all about connecting locals and expats, explore the city, and share a passion for capturing moments. Our free photo walks are informal, open to all skill levels, and conducted in English — though all languages are welcome!

We’ll explore Antón Martín, Lavapiés, Embajadores, Puerta de Toledo, Mercado de la Cebada, Tirso de Molina, and finish back at Antón Martín.

These stops are full of interesting subjects, colors, character, textures, and stories waiting to be captured through our lens. The route isn’t 100% predetermined though — our creativity will guide us!
