Shut Up & Write [WeWork 27-01 Queens Plaza N - LIC]

Join us for 3 hours of writing! After a really helpful session by one of our fellow organizers, I’ve discovered that it’s strikingly helpful to write with other writers with a huge chunk of time. Let's see if it’s true for you this 1 PM on Wednesday afternoon.

Be it a book, blog, script, essay, dissertation, resume, melody, poem or just plain work stuff, you are invited to write it with us. No one will see what you've written or give you unsolicited advice. Instead of just thinking about writing, come and get some real writing done.

SCHEDULE:
1:00 - quick intros.
1:15 - timer starts.
2:00 - we'll be doing 15 minutes break on the hour, but feel free to write through if you're on a roll. Go you!

BEING LATE IS OKAY: just show up and get settled. If you were on time, please be willing to make room for the friendly latecomer.

What Should I Bring?
Whatever you need to be able to write!
Bring earbuds/earplugs if you want to block the cafe’s overhead music or the occasional conversation by other patrons.

Other Important Details:

• WeWork 27-01 Queens Plaza requires a Photo ID and your full name that is preregistered on the main attendee list. (not waitlist or walk-ins, sorry).

• We'll be meeting on the 13th-floor lobby first in order to gain access to the room.

• WeWork generously provides coffee, tea, and fruit water. Hydrate as you wish!
