Free afternoon @ the Cheltenham Science Festival

Come along for an afternoon of free events at the Cheltenham Science Festival! On Saturday 7th June there'll be a series of free events at the Jetstream venue in the Imperial Gardens: https://www.cheltenhamfestivals.org/events/free-saturday-7-june

This will start at 2-2:45 with eco-poetry readings presented by wildlife conservationist Chantelle Lindsay, after which there'll be a guided meditation session from 3:15-3:45 led by Brinny Does: https://brinnydoes.com/

Then get on your nerd caps for a Science(ish) Pop Quiz from 4:15-5, for those who love a pub quiz (make sure to brush up on your periodic table beforehand!) From 5:30-6pm there'll be stand-up comedy hosted by Shirley Halse, founder of the Alternative Book Club comedy night in Cheltenham.

I'll be leaving just before the end of the comedy to attend a darning workshop, but feel free to stick around and enjoy the music afterward. Pop in and out as you like, no need to stay for the whole afternoon/evening, there should be food stalls on the site as well; but hope to see you there :)
