The Wilson Art Gallery and Museum (where we hold our writing meetups each month) run a monthly 'Wilson Nights' event, a themed late-night event (Christmas markets, folk art and music, skateboarding, International Women's Day, etc) which usually includes performances, workshops, pop-up exhibitions, and more; the events are always very creative and great fun.

The next Wilson Nights on April 1st will be called 'The Joy of Making'. There'll be music from 6-8 from the Tewkesbury Pub Singers and the Cheltenham Improviser's Orchestra, and a few workshops (see the poster/image for more details), including 'Imperfect Embroidery and Quilt Making' where you work to create your own patch for a quilt, and 'Bleephaus' which describes itself as an 'adventure playground for sound, noise and accidental music!' For more info, you can see the full poster here: https://wilsonmuseum.org.uk/community/wilson-nights/

I'll be arriving at 6 to attend the Imperfect Embroidery and Quilt Making workshop, probably attending some of the other workshops/enjoying the music as it strikes my fancy, but feel free to pop in and out if you arrive late, want to wander or attend the other workshops, etc. We may go out for a drink afterwards depending on when it all finishes; but hope to see you there! :)
