Tuesday Morning Typefest - Shut Up & Write

Join us for Creative Writing this Tuesday morning. Connect with fellow writers in a supportive and inspiring environment. If you are participating in Novel November, this will be a great time to hit your word target.

We will follow the standard national meeting format:
9:30 to 9:45 - Introductions and informal chat
9:45 to 10:45 - Shut Up & Write - We will set a timer for a hour period of uninterrupted writing.
10:45 to 11:00 - informal writing chat

No experience necessary. Whether you are writing your doctorate thesis, the great American novel, or a memoir - no project is too great or small. There will be no group writing prompts, no reading what you just wrote, and no critiques. This is a safe and supportive place to write.

We will meet in the Java House cafe in the main library, situated on the north end of the ground floor across from the media lab. If you are late and we have already begun writing, please settle in and write, too. You can join us at the end of the session for conversation.
