Welcome to Norwich Shut Up & Write!
Join us for an hour of writing! We’ve discovered that it’s strikingly helpful to write with other writers. See if it’s true for you at midday on Sundays.
Be it a book, blog, script, essay, dissertation, resume, melody, poem or just plain work stuff, you are invited to write it with us. No one will see what you've written or give you unsolicited advice. Instead of just thinking about writing, come and get some real writing done.

SCHEDULE:
10:00 - Quick introductions
10:05 - Timer starts: write for 1 hour
11:05 - The End: chat, take off, or keep writing

If you would like to stick around for some social time after, that is always welcome.

What Should I Bring?

• Whatever you need to be able to write!
• Bringing earbuds/earplugs may be helpful if you want to block out background noise.
• If writing on a laptop, make sure it is pre-charged as there are no power outlets available to us. Cactus Café does have WiFi, just ask for the passcode when you order your coffee.

Some Important Details:

• We will be easy to find. Come into Cactus Café and look for the group of people with notebooks and laptops! We are always in the area by the door nearest to Epic Studios.
• Please thank our hosts by purchasing a drink before starting your writing session. They have a big range including some excellent coffees.
• The event is limited to 12 people as the venue can't host many more than that. If the event is full, drop me a message anyway as you may still be able to fit in.
• If you RSVP and realise you cannot attend, please cancel your RSVP as soon as possible to free the space for another writer.
• Being late is okay! Just show up and get settled. You can always check in with everyone after the session.
