Shut Up & Write!® at the Sofia Center

Join us for some focused writing time. Whether it’s a short story, a journal, blog, script, essay, poem, social media posts or maybe even a book - you are welcome to write it with us!

No one will see what you've written or review your work. The focus is on giving yourself the time and space to work on something you’re interested in and get some writing done.

What should I bring?

• Whatever you need to write with! A notebook, laptop, paper, pen, typewriter...
• Earbuds if you want to listen to music.

19:45 - Writing ends! Feel free to hang around for a chat :)
20:00 - Event finishes

What to expect
RSVP on this page and please arrive on time. Our host will lead introductions and then everyone will write for a quiet, focused period of time.

Afterwards, we’ll have time to chat and get to know each other. If you don’t have time to stick around, no worries!
