Shut Up & Write!® Downtown St. Pete

Join us for an hour of writing! We’ve discovered that it’s strikingly helpful to write with other writers. See if it’s true for you at 9 am this Sunday (note the time change from earlier sessions).

Be it a book, blog, script, essay, dissertation, resume, melody, poem or just plain work stuff, you are invited to write it with us. No one will see what you've written or give you unsolicited advice. Instead of just thinking about writing, come and get some real writing done.

SCHEDULE:
9:00 - SESSION 1: quick intros.
9:15 - timer starts: write for 1 hour.
10:15 - (the end) chat / take off / keep writing.

OPTIONAL SOCIALIZING happens at 10:15 am. Writing is very solitary. Connecting (and sometimes even commiserating) with other writers is a cool thing. If you want to socialize beyond 10:30, there's a Starbucks nearby -- and lots of other places with indoor and outdoor seating.

BEING LATE IS USUALLY OKAY, but please be on time this week. Station House is CLOSED on Sundays (although members have access), so I'll need to let you in.

Because Station House is closed, the coffee bar will not be open.

If you write on a laptop, it's best to come with it FULLY CHARGED.
