Writing Session, SUAW Brighton

Join us for some focused writing time.

Meeting at 13.00 at the Archives, writing will start at 13:15, until 14:15. We'll have time for a wee chat before and after, but the writing hour is sacred quiet time for focussed work.

These events are a safe space for writers of all skill levels and genres to work together, so no one will read or critique your writing. All writers (novels/poems/comedy/emails/code etc.) and all experience levels are welcome.

No worries if you're a bit late or need to leave early; just join in when you can. There are some plugs for charging in the cafe. I have booked a four seater table as a base, but we'll probably spread out through the cafe during the writing hour and can move onto one of the sofas for a chat after. It is a pretty quiet space, but there may be background music and other cafe attendees chatting.

Venue Guidelines: Please thank our hosts by purchasing something. They have coffees, teas, soft and alcoholic drinks as well as food.
