Attacks by wild animals have become increasingly frequent as autumn draws to a close, and lycanthropy has become a common cause of paranoia from the villages to the highest echelons of the ruling class. With some delay, the military has launched an effort to tackle this problem head-on, but this may be only the beginning. Reports have emerged from the western coast of people claiming to have had visions of Karaan, a lesser deity of lycanthropy and wild savagery. What they failed to mention was his resemblance to a certain well-known celestial body...
