Fort George island Cultural State Park hike aka X files former site

The hike of 3.1 miles is a trip back in time, home to the Indian Village Alicamani and the Saturiwa Indians, the English and French explorers to the Spanish Mission and Kingsley Plantation of the late 1700's. The hike will go along the coast of the island, dunes, old golf course and lush wooded areas as well as sights of the intracoastal waters and who knows maybe a peek at the X files extra terrestrial Bett's Castle as long as Alien or supernatural events make it impossible to stay. The area for parking can be the parking by the large white plantation building or the field on the left . Please be on time ,if you wish to make it interesting you can bike over on the Mayport ferry from Mayport and ride your bike to the parking lot ,its 2 miles and the ferry ride is a dollar.
