Camp chowenwaw Park nature hike

Hike intown off Park Ave aka highway 17 at the former Girl's Scout Camp now a county park for Clay county Florida. Camp Chowenwaw park has some interesting nature trails and as far as mileage under 2 miles. The park has a pool,camping area ,pier, kayaking launch and interesting cabins just off Black Creek and is home to a variety of trees, plant life as well as wildlife and bird life ,so you bird watchers should know this is a stopover for migrating birds like Warblers, Tangers and Kites.
