Lake Crabtree County Park Outing

Details
NOTE: The park staff have informed us that although there will be a sign at the main entrance saying the trails are closed to the public due to wet conditions, that they are still happy to guide our group along the trail! So if you see a sign saying trails closed do not let it discourage you, we will be meeting in the gravel parking lot, first right after you enter the park!
Join us on Wednesday, May 28th to hike the Lake Crabtree County Park trails which are slated for closure and development at the end of the month. We will be meeting in the Floodplain Parking Lot, the first right after you enter the park. The hike begins at 5:30PM, and we will be accompanied by Park staff who will tell us about the history of the park, the trails, and their pending closure.
Please wear comfortable shoes and clothing suitable for hiking, bring water and any appropriate attire for the weather. We will provide a cooler with water, some snacks, etc. Please be aware that the trails are not closed for our exclusive use, and that others may be using the trails including for biking activities. We ask that all attendees be respectful, safe, and considerate of the needs of others!
