Alongside Kensington's Natural Resources staff, join us in helping the environment while exploring new places. Volunteers are an essential part in the fight against invasive species and help to restore and conserve our natural areas.

The second Saturday each month volunteer for nature with us at a different park. All necessary tools and equipment will be provided, as well as water and snacks. We will provide gloves, but feel free to bring your favorite pair! Please be sure to dress for working outdoors and in areas that may include poison ivy (long pants, layered clothing, closed-toe shoes, rain gear, hat, sunscreen, etc.).

Ages: 12 and up; children must be accompanied by a registered adult
Time: 10 a.m. – 1p.m.
Cost: Metropark entry is required
Location: Kensington Metropark, west boat launch parking lot

Pre-registration is required by 4 p.m. three days before the program.
