Huron Meadows Metropark Cross-Country Ski

Join us for an afternoon cross-country ski outing.
All levels welcome. Since we are expecting a variety of experience levels, we will be skiing on the 1.5 mile Buck's Run trail (which is groomed and has machine-made snow, and costs $5 to use). More experienced skiers can do 2 or more loops if desired.
Ski rentals available for $20 (includes skis, boots, and poles).
IMPORTANT: If you are renting ski equipment: You must reserve in advance on this website. There are only 10 sets of ski equipment available for each 1/2 hour time slot. The rentals fill up quickly so be sure to reserve asap (for Sunday Decembery 21st at 12pm).
The park will give refunds if the ski conditions aren't good Sunday (due to the upcoming rain and warming/cooling forecast). We will post an update Saturday if this event will still happen.
Please arrive by 11:45am for sign-in (or earlier if renting skis).
Cost: Metropark entry fee ($10/day or $40/year), and $5 for Buck's Run ski trail, and optional ski rental equipment for $20.
If you plan to join our group hike at 10am this same day at the same park, bring some snacks to eat between events.
