We know you love outdoor activities. That's why you are a member of our Meetup group. Our dedicated volunteers plan hikes and other outings for all to enjoy. And now we are looking for new people to join the team.

We know what your first question will be: What's involved? The answer: Going on outings for the most part. Plus a few times a year we meet in person or on Zoom to plan them.

Attending this Team Building event is not a commitment, it's an opportunity to learn about being an outings team member. We will meet at the home of Sierra Club Crossroads Group Vice Chair Lee Burton- site of our annual spring and summer flower outings- enjoy some refreshments and talk about outings. Then we will go for a short hike on the trails of Hidden Creek Nature Preserve and Brighton State Rec.

If you do decide join the team, we will give you the training you need and pay for first aid instruction at a convenient time for you. If you are interested in learning more but unable to attend this event, send an email to crossroadsoutings@michigan.sierraclub.org with your name and phone number and we will contact you.

So join us and see what being a Sierra Club Crossroads Group outings leader is all about. It's a great way to make new friends and provide all of our followers more opportunities to get outside.
