Independence Oaks County Park - Bird Watching Stroll

We will head into the Hills to start, 3 mi total. If you'd like more mileage you can walk around Crooked Lake on the way back. We will be taking our time, but this can be a strenuous hike for some, bring appropriate footwear and something to drink. Also, get your phone loaded with your favorite birding app (Merlin Bird ID, Audubon, etc.). You may want to bring a pair of binoculars or your camera with a long lens. Last year we identified over 30 bird species!

Please arrive at 12:45 AM for sign in so we can start promptly at 1:00.

Fees: Oakland County residents are Free, Non-resident $12 per car load, on the honor system at a self pay kiosk (let your conscience be your guide :-)

NOTE: Leashed Dogs are allowed, please clean up after your pet.
