Singapore? COME VISIT WITH US!! Adding a ZOOM option!!

In this talk, Ilana McQuinn and Gary Brandt will share observations on Singapore's natural flora and fauna, especially in light of official government and public infrastructure investments in retaining balance between urban and natural spaces across the city-state. Sites discussed will include both curated spaces such as the Singapore Botanical Garden to the nearly uninhabited island Pulau Ubin. Their observations are informed by their perspective as an amateur bird watcher (Ilana), farmer (Gary), and travellers who have lived in Europe, the Middle East, and East Asia between the two of them.
