Restoring Our Wetlands by Back-filling Canals

Eugene Turner, LSU Boyd Professor, Department of Oceanography Coastal Sciences, will discuss how back-filling canals can and has restored surrounding wetlands in south Louisiana. The canals were dug over the past 40-50 years by the oil & gas industry for miles of pipelines.
More importantly, the cost is a fraction of the cost of comparable approaches.
