Day Hike Mower Basin

We will hike in the Mower Tract. The route will encompass several trails for a loop hike. This is a great opportunity to see forest restoration in progress after decades of strip mining and clearcut logging. This hike is one of two weekend hikes in the Mower Tract, a remote location. Camping opportunities in the area are many, but indoor lodging is more limited. Though overnight accommodation is not part of the outing. We will cancel in heavy rain or thunderstorms but carry on in light rain.
