This is a great way to meet new people and help care for Arizona's rivers. We will be gathering important scientific data in Cottonwood, Camp Verde and North Scottsdale. Data gathered helps resource managers make better decisions about our rivers. We will meet in Camp Verde at 9:30am (except for North Scottsdale volunteers) and disperse to monitoring locations from there. Our meeting location is the Shell Station at 1673 W. AZ-260, Camp Verde, AZ 86322. Separate location for Scottsdale group. No prior experience or special equipment is needed to participate. Bring hat/sunglasses/sunscreen and drinking water, and a snack if you'll need one. Monitoring takes approximately 2 hours, including travel time between sampling locations.
