There are also interesting rock formations and cliffs. There are interpretive signs along the trail explaining about the geology of the area. The trail is pretty flat for 1.5 miles in and then those that want can continue for another steeper 1 mile loop. The total mileage will be 3 -4.5 miles. The scenery is beautiful. The trail if fairly smooth and wide. We will meet at 8:30 at the trailhead sign right below the restrooms. Please dress for the weather and bring water. There is not drinking water at the trailhead.
