Spring Wildflower Hike at the Kate Palmer Sanctuary

Details

Join us for our first spring hike, on Saturday, May 11, at the Kate Palmer Wildlife Santuary to explore the area and look for spring wildflowers. We will start the hike at 10 AM sharp, so plan to park and be ready a bit before then.
We will have the volunteer caretaker, Pegg Clevenger on hand, as well as biologist Monica Day, to answer questions and identify flowers and wildlife. Feel free to bring mom and the kids. If we have enough children attending, we may break into two groups, one at a faster pace and a more leisurely for the kids, and anyone who wants to take it easy.

Bring a sack lunch to enjoy with the group after. Make new friends and help plan the next outings. This event is free and open to the public. See you there!

PS In case of steady rain we will cancel and try again the following Saturday, May 18. Same time, same place.
