Join us for the next Sierra Club Adventure Coast Group Meetup on Wednesday, January 21st with guest speaker Evan Cooper at the Historic Brooksville Womans Club, 131 South Main Street in Brooksville. Public welcome, bring a friend! Social at 6:30pm, presentation 7pm—8pm.
Evan Cooper is Sea Turtle Conservancy’s conservation educator with their In-Water Research and Conservation Program in Florida’s Big Bend Region a renowned photographer/videographer and creates photo and video content for their social media. He is passionate about sea turtle conservation through research and education, and spreads awareness about sea turtles and ways everyone can help save them! For the past 6 years, he has presented to students, classrooms, clubs, and groups, oversees the Adopt-a-Turtle program. and has participated in research expeditions to collect data on hundreds of sea turtles in Florida and the Caribbean.
