Beginner's XC ski trip

Cross-country skiing trip for beginner's and above up at Nevada Nordic.
Must bring your own XC equipment. If you need to rent, recommendations are below.
1-3 miles with gain/loss of 50 feet. Moderate difficulty depending on ability.
ND (No dogs).

This is a Sierra Club outing, so we ask you to sign our liability waiver at the trailhead and donate $1 to help cover First Aid Training for all our leaders.

Carpooling
There is limited parking at the trailhead, so it is best if we carpool or caravan there.
Meet at Galena Junction Shopping Center, 18250 Wedge Pkwy, along the Mt. Rose Hwy in south Reno. Look for us just west of the Starbucks.
If you share a ride, be sure to help the driver out with gas money.

Cross-country Ski Rentals:
These shops rent skis with metal edges, which is best for beginners.
