This is a cross-posting for one of our sister environmental groups:
Great Basin National Park Artist-in-Residence program.

Come hear the world premiere performance of The Sacrifice of Prometheus commissioned by the Reno Phil.
By: Great Basin National Park's Artist-in-Residence, composer Marko Bajzer, which tells the story of the planet’s oldest trees (and Nevada's state tree!): the Great Basin Bristlecone Pines.

This will be a very special event, celebrating Nevada's primary national park at a time when advocacy for conservation is needed more than ever.
There is a discount code, which is BRISTLECONE5, for tickets, and there is also a livestream for people who would prefer to stay at home.

Two performances:
Saturday, March 22, 2025 at 7:30 PM
Sunday, March 23, 2025 at 4:00 PM
