Evening Conditioning Hike -- Third Creek

Celebrate the 1st of July with a hike through red, white, and blue wildflowers.
Hike from the Mt. Rose Meadows up Third Creek to its source at Frog Pond.
We will be above 9000 feet; come prepared for cool evening temperatures in the 60's.
Skeeters are a possibility, so long sleeves and pants legs are a good idea.
Moderate hike of 4 mi and 900 ft elevation gain.
50% on trail and 50% cross-country. Not a beginner's hike.
Moderately difficult due to the altitude. DL. Dogs limited.
