Mount Rose Meadows Moonlight Madness

Come celebrate the Sturgeon Moon, the full moon of August.
Hiking from Mt. Rose trailhead along the road overlooking the Mt. Rose Meadows.
We will be above 9000 feet elevation, so come prepared for cool temperatures.
Sunset is at 8:04p and the almost full moon will rise at 7:33p.
There should be plenty of moonlight to see by, but flashlights or
headlamps are always a good idea in case of cloudiness.
Moderate hike of 3 mi and 500 ft elevation gain. DL (Dogs limited).

Since this is a Sierra Club hike, we ask you to sign our liability waiver at the trailhead and donate $1 to help cover First Aid Training for all our leaders.
