Details

Taylor Creek is on the southwest shore of Lake Tahoe. Walk around the marsh looking for running and spawning Kokanee Salmon. Hiking 3 miles between elevations of 6225-6250'.
Bring a lunch for a noon picnic at the picnic tables there, and plenty of water.
Wear sturdy walking shoes, and sandals or flip-flops are recommended for the beach and wading across Taylor Creek. Moderately Easy. ND (No Dogs, local regulations).

Carpooling
From Reno, it is a 1.5-hour drive each way, so we will meet for carpooling near the Starbucks in the Galena Junction Shopping Center, 18250 Wedge Pkwy, Reno.
If you share a ride, be sure to help the driver out with gas money.
