Early morning Snowshoe to Chickadee Ridge

Come enjoy the panoramic views of Lake Tahoe and the Sierra Crest while communing with the Chickadee's. This will be an easy pace snowshoe trek of about 3 miles round trip and 400' of gain. The path is packed down but icy. Crampons will work but the snow is knee high at the top so you won't be able to go off trail.
If you are NOT carpooling, meet at the trailhead (SEE PHOTO) at 8:35 AM.
This is a Sierra Club outing, so we ask you to sign our liability waiver at the trailhead and donate $1 to help cover First Aid Training for all our leaders.

Carpooling - 7:55 AM
Meet at Galena Junction Shopping Center, 18250 Wedge Pkwy, along the Mt. Rose Hwy in south Reno. Look for us in the parking lot just west of the Starbucks. We will leave for the trailhead at 8:00 AM
If you share a ride, be sure to help the driver out with gas money.
