Rory will introduce us to the work of the Nevada Department of Wildlife. Since he worked in three of the Divisions within the agency—Fisheries, Habitat and Biodiversity—he is well suited to provide a comprehensive look at the NDOW mission, and its Wildlife Action Plan.
Rory graduated from UNLV and then began a career with the Nevada Department of Wildlife that continued for 37 years.

The last eight years of his career were spent in the Wildlife Diversity Division where he was the Supervising Wildlife Biologist for the Eastern Region. There he worked to increase the knowledge base relating to all the non-game wildlife in our state.

After his long career at NDOW, Rory now sits on the Executive Committee of the Toiyabe Chapter of the Sierra Club.
